Webster Bank promotes two

Webster Bank announced this week the promotions of Carol Carver and James Lane. Ms. Carver is now senior vice president, commercial banking, and Mr. Lane is now senior vice president, commercial real estate.

Ms. Carver joined Webster in 1999 as a portfolio manager and was previously vice president, relationship manager, commercial banking. She has handled a number of complex credit relationships during her tenure with Webster. Based in Waterbury, Ms. Carver is a resident of Middlebury.

Mr. Lane joined Webster 12 years ago as an analyst and worked his way up to becoming a vice president, relationship manager. Based in Stamford, he is a resident of Wilton. He serves on the boards of the Fairfield & Westchester Real Estate Finance Association, the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, Cardinal Shehan Center, and the Housing Development Loan Fund. Mr. Lane earned his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College.
