Wave Hill Breads will offer samples

Wave Hill Breads, a Norwalk company owned by Wiltonians, is now open to the public every Saturday from 10 to 3.
Visitors will be greeted by the owners, Margaret Sapir and Mitchell Rapoport, or by the chief baker, Tim Topi, who will offer a tour of the bakery.
Guests can also arrange for educational, entertaining group visits.
While Wave Hill Breads is known primarily as a wholesale bakery, selling to restaurants and stores in the area, Saturdays offer local residents an opportunity to shop direct. Visitors will find many items not available at stores, such as just-out-of-the-oven-at-11 fresh rosemary roman focaccia, pumpernickel, apricot croissants, wild yeast bread (sourdough), and cranberry-walnut demi-baguettes.
The bakery is at 30 High Street in Norwalk, between Post Road and Wall Street, and offers on-site parking.
