Wave Hill Breads changes hands

Wave Hill Breads, the Wilton bakery that relocated to Norwalk five years ago, was purchased in September from Wilton residents Margaret Sapir and Mitchell Rapoport, by Tim and Angela Topi of Bronxville, N.Y.

Now under new ownership, the bakery is rolling out several specialties for the holiday season. Patrons will be able to taste Tim Topi’s limited-run panettones, now available. This year’s seasonal offers, however, are not limited to bonus menu items.

Adult as well as child customers will also have the opportunity to take bread and cookie party baking classes from the owners, and to purchase class-credit gift certificates, possibly to be given as teacher appreciation gifts.

Wave Hill Breads’ retail bakery is at 30 High Street, Norwalk, and is open every Saturday from 9 to 5. The Topis’ products can be purchased in Wilton from Village Market and Stop & Shop.
