Watch: How's the Wilton real estate market doing?

Joanne Fisher of William Pitt Sotheby's sits down with The Wilton Bulletin’s HAN Network before the recent Wilton Street Fair & Sidewalk Sales. The HAN Network was in Wilton Center on Thursday, July 16, for live broadcast previewing the annual street fair.

The annual summer festival was presented by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce supported by retailers, restaurants, businesses, artisans and local organizations who pull out all the stops to showcase the community as a vibrant retail, service and dining destination. The Wilton Street Fair and Sidewalk Sale was sponsored by Fairfield County Bank.
The weather was iffy at times on Saturday and there was competition from sidewalk sales in other towns, but a respectable crowd turned out in Wilton. You can see some photos and more on the annual event at this link.

There were scores of vendors, exhibitors and lots of food. Many people made their way over to the library for the Local Author Showcase, attended by about two dozen area authors including Dick King, Shannon White, Kathy Caprino and Jack Cavanaugh from Wilton.

The HAN Network is part of Hersam Acorn, which owns and operates 13 newspapers and many more news and lifestyle websites in southwestern Connecticut and Westchester, N.Y., along with HANRadio.com , the voice of Hersam Acorn, which features live news, sports and entertainment throughout the year.
