Wilton shoppers who shop local this holiday season will see a basket full of local goodies making its way from store to store. It is the Sisterhood of the Traveling Basket, a collection of $1,800 worth of gift certificates, professional services, and items such as jewelry and beauty products that will be raffled to benefit Wilton Social Services. The basket is presently at B Chic, shown with owner Erica Amado Malhotra. It is the brainchild of hairdresser Janet Montalbano, who put it together as a way to thank the Wilton community for all the support it has given her. Tickets are $20 each, three for $50.
