SCORE Norwalk’s latest workshop on Monday, Aug. 4, will review what is important in starting a successful restaurant and how to keep it running successfully.
In the course, you will learn:
- Positioning your restaurant.
- The financials of starting a restaurant
- The physical planning of a restaurant
- Permits and licenses
- Marketing
- Operating a successful restaurant
The course’s panel of experts include:
Mark Moeller, president of Recipe of Success, a consulting firm in restaurant development. He has owned two restaurants in Manhattan, one a French bistro, the other a creperie.
Steven Semaya is the owner and operator of Strada 18, a restaurant in South Norwalk. Strada 18 features Italian cuisine in a casual dining atmosphere.
The 6-8 p.m. workshop will take place at Ferguson Library, 96 Broad St., in Stamford. Check-in starts at 5:30.
