SCORE Mastermind

SCORE’s newest small-business support group, the Mastermind Group, helps those in business with problems, challenges or ideas they need to talk through and brainstorm with peers in business, the organization says.

A Mastermind is a group of individuals focused on helping each other achieve results. Part advisory board and part think tank, the organization says, participants provide input to each other to help solve business problems and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Each person in a Mastermind group becomes the “client” for part of the session, and the group brainstorms ways to help them achieve their objectives. The moderator is the facilitator of the session and provides recommendations after hearing the input of the participants.

The initial series of three sessions, on Sept. 16, 23, and 30, will include the decision maker from organizations that have been in business for more than one year, and have achieved at least $100,000 in annual sales.

The sessions will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
