Reeves relocates office

Ann C. Reeves has relocated her Wilton private psychology practice from Old Ridgefield Road to 3 Hollyhock Lane, as well as to Sound Center for the Arts and Mindfulness in Newtown.
A press release said Reeves is known for her work with children, but has recently started shifting her focus towards working with adults. She will still treat her current and past child clients.
According to the press release, “Reeves emphasizes positive psychology, a field of psychology that studies the conditions and processes that contribute to the flourishing or optimal functioning of people and groups, encouraging individuals and communities to thrive rather than focus only on what is wrong.”
“I want to help those who wish to move beyond ‘what’s wrong,’” said Reeves, “beyond the stresses of daily living into a search for deeper meaning, even as life throws us curve balls such as unexpected transitions and health and relationship challenges.”
Reeves is certified by the University of Massachusetts Medical Center to teach mindfulness-based stress reduction to individuals and groups. She has a doctorate in psychology from New York University.
