Real estate association elects Koellmer as a vice president

Realty Seven owner Peg Koellmer has been elected  2019 vice president-at-large for medium firms for East Hartford-based Connecticut Realtors, a statewide trade association representing nearly 17,000 real estate professionals.

Koellmer also serves as chair of the Ethics and Professional Standards Commission for the association to which she has belonged since 1990. Koellmer is also  an active member of the Mid-Fairfield County Association of Realtors, which named her 2018 local Realtor of the year. She served as president of the mid-Fairfield group in 2016 and 2017.

Last year, Realty Seven marked 40 years in business. Koellmer purchased the business, where she had worked as an agent, 10 years ago.

In Wilton, Koellmer is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of the town’s Commission on Social Services, and she has also served on the boards of the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Wilton Library and Wilton Go Green, among many other affiliations.
