Open House shopping benefits visiting nurse patients

Shoppers can get a jump on their Mother’s Day or graduation lists at Open House in Wilton Center on Thursday, April 27, from 9:30 until 5:30 and make a contribution to Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County with every purchase.

Open House, at 9 Center Street, carries women’s and children’s apparel, jewelry and accessories, and decorative housewares. The shop will host this special event and donate a percentage of the proceeds from all sales that day to benefit the patients of Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County.

There will be refreshments, a raffle, and a Bella Tu trunk show from 11 until 4. The public is invited to come and meet Denise Sheedy of Bella Tu and see their extensive collection of unique, one-of-a-kind, embroidered and beaded linen tunics.

A non-profit community organization for more than 100 years, Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County provides professional nursing and support services, senior care management, physical rehabilitation, health education, community wellness programs and compassionate hospice and palliative care for adults and children in Wilton and throughout Fairfield County
