New face at First County

Patricia A. Sweeney, of Wilton, has joined First County Bank in Stamford as a portfolio manager, the company reported Tuesday.

In this position, Ms. Sweeney will perform all aspects of financial analysis, underwriting, risk assessment, loan structure, sensitivity analysis and completion of credit approval documents.

“Patty brings a strong background of commercial lending and portfolio management through over 30 years of experience in banking and commercial lending,” said Reyno Giallongo, First County Bank’s chairman and CEO. “She has a depth of experience with many aspects of commercial banking including commercial lending, SBA loans, portfolio management, originations, underwriting and loan processing. We look forward to her contributions which complement and further enrich the expertise of our First County Bank Commercial Banking Division.”

Prior to joining First County, Ms. Sweeney was a commercial lender at Wilton Bank, which was taken over by Bankwell last year.

She is a long-time Wilton resident who is involved with the Rotary Club, Kiwanis/Rotary HomeFront project and the Wilton Memorial Day Parade.
