Since June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, Animals In Distress encourages people to stop by its adoption event on Saturday, June 13, from 1 to 4.
Lots of cats at the shelter have been waiting for real forever homes, including playful one-year-old brothers Ming and Leo. According to the shelter, these two are model “marmalades” — goofy, curious, brave and loving to each other, as well as toward humans.

Animals In Distress is a no-kill cat shelter at 238 Danbury Road. It is open on Saturdays, from 1 to 4, and during the week by appointment.
