The Planning & Zoning Commission voted last week allowing Café Ruche to open an outdoor patio area just outside its front door.
In a unanimous vote Monday, April 13, the commission members said they were hard-pressed to deny an application “from a tenant like this one.”
Five tables and two umbrellas will comprise the furniture in the patio area, which was approved by the health department.
The patio might be used from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Four of the tables will have seating for four people, and one table will have seating for two.
