A full two years have passed since the COVID-19 pandemic spread to the state and inflicted economic disruption whose effects included plummeting office occupancy.
Today, there is a more encouraging outlook for the office market in southwestern Connecticut. While corporate tenants are still generally occupying less of their office space on a daily basis than they did before the pandemic because of the rise of remote working, companies are still signing new leases and the area’s vacancy rates have not exploded.
