Bankwell hosts exercise and diet seminar Thursday, March 26

Bankwell in Wilton is offering a free lunchtime seminar next Thursday, March 26, called the “Diet-Exercise Equation” presented by local fitness and nutrition expert, Bonnie Sheehan .

The seminar will take place from 11 to 12:30 at 47 Old Ridgefield Road.

Ms. Sheehan will educate participants on how to balance both sides of the Diet-Exercise Equation, discussing the proper balance and intake of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, the optimal levels of exercise and the importance of stress and sleep management.

The health impact of adequate hydration, caffeine and alcohol consumption and the intake of vitamins, minerals and supplements will also be covered.

Ms. Sheehan will provide a comprehensive overview about how sound nutritional choices and appropriate activity levels can lead to sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle habits.

Ms. Sheehan is the founder of TRAX Fitness, LLC, a personal and group training business that specializes in developing optimal health through a balanced approach to overall wellbeing. She is also a running and youth fitness coach and the founder of InSpirit, a fitness club designed to renew mind, body and spirit while focusing on short-term and attainable fitness goals.
