Through Oct. 31, Bankwell in Wilton will be collecting new or gently used children’s books for preschool through eighth-grade reading levels in partnership with Kids Helping Kids.
Books can be dropped off at the bank’s location at 47 Old Ridgefield Road.
Donations will support the “Launch Libraries” initiative. Launch Libraries is a Kids Helping Kids program that aims to build a small community library in Bridgeport from donated reading materials.
Kids Helping Kids is a nonprofit in Connecticut that specializes in youth-led service projects.
Bankwell is a locally managed commercial bank that offers a full range of banking and lending services.
