Richard Wiese star of the ABC TV show Born to Explore, will be a guest on this Thursday’s Stir Crazy with Patty Gay, a new online food chat show that can be heard on this site.
Born to Explore is nominated for five daytime Emmy awards, including one for outstanding series and another for Wiese as best series host.
An explorer by profession, Wiese will discuss the cultures and food he has encountered on his many trips across the word including a trek to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and a visit with orangutans in Borneo.
Joining Wiese in the studio will be Born to Explore’s executive producer Mercedes Velgot, and Chef Gerard Clinton who grows an organic garden at the Aspetuck Valley Country Club in Weston and is featured on the Farm to Fork episode of Born to Explore.
