Classic features Come and cool off mid-day at the senior center during the summer! This summer, the senior center will feature a classic movie at noon on Mondays. This week’s movie is “The Mandarin Mystery.” This early mystery is based upon the Ellery Queen novel entitled “The Chinese Orange Mystery” and features Eddie Quillian as the famous sleuth. The theft of a $50,000 stamp and the subsequent murders of two people found in locked rooms bring Ellery Queen in on the case. Queen must use all of his detective skills in order to find the killer and prove the young stamp owner, whom he is interested in, is innocent.
