James E. Fitzgerald; services on Jan. 17

ames Edward Fitzgerald of Redding died Monday, Jan. 14, at Meadow Ridge. He was the father of Mary E. Belger of Wilton.

A World War II veteran, Mr. Fitzgerald served as a communications officer aboard a LST in the South Pacific. He graduated from Holy Cross College and received his MBA from New York University. He worked in human resources for Norden Systems (United Technologies) for over 35 years.

Formerly of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., he is pre-deceased by his wife Patricia.

Besides his daughter in Wilton, he is survived by his two sons, Michael J. and Thomas J. Fitzgerald, and another daughter, Susan P. Fitzgerald; and five grandchildren, Emily and Kathleen Fitzgerald and Cameron, Caroline and Ryan Belger.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wilton at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan.17. Burial will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor at littlesistersofthepoor.org.
