Free historical bike tour May 19

Sue A. DelBianco, historian/author, will host a Spring historical bike tour on Sunday, May 19, at 11 a.m. Cyclists will meet at the Tait Road commuter parking lot off of Church Hill Road in Trumbull.

DelBianco will bring the cyclists back in time on the Trumbull rail-trail, and will be stopping off at many historical landmarks along the way: Remains of an old ice house and reservoir, remains of a knit mill, a paper mill, a fountain from Parlor Rock Amusement park, sites of where two trains stations were, a cow tunnel under the rail-trail, site of a railroad crash, a mining company, and a reputed witch’s grave named Hannah Crannah.
