The Wilton Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment Wednesday, Jan. 23, as part of a Police Officer Standards and Training Council program to achieve Tier I accreditation.
The achieve accreditation, the council has to verify that the department meets professional standards.
As part of the on-site assessment, Wilton Police Department employees and community members are invited to offer comments, which can be mailed to:
