Suzanne Marks Krinsley, formerly of Wilton, died peacefully on April 20, 2018 in Redding, CT. She was 88-years-old.
Susan, as she was more commonly known, was born on February 9th, 1930 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of Lucille and Harold Marks. She was raised by Lucille and her stepfather, Harry Winkelman, after the premature death of her father.
While in college at the University of Michigan she met the love of her life, Richard, and they remained happily married for 64 years before he passed away in 2016. Their love for each other was an inspiration to all.
She is survived by her children, James and Carolyn, their spouses, Maureen and Kevin, her grandchildren, Jenna, Danny, Emma, Jake, Jeremy and his wife Karen, and predeceased by her daughter Jan and granddaughter Anna. In addition, she is survived by her son-in-law, Fred, brother, Harold, and her sisters, Anne and Joan, as well as their beloved spouses, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Susan found passion, not only through her years of volunteer work, but also in her discovery of sculpting. Her works are now displayed in homes and businesses all over the world. These sculptures will continue to be shared and recognized forever, a beautiful way to keep her legacy alive. She is missed and loved by everyone who knew her
