Model Congress hosts annual conference

The Wilton Model Congress hosted more than 60 students from Darien, Trumbull and New Canaan during its annual conference at Wilton High School on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Students addressed pressing issues faced by United States legislators during the day-long conference, which consisted of debate and discourse, as well as passing and failing of their peers’ legislation.

As the conference’s keynote speaker, Sen. Toni Boucher (R-26) presented to the students and answered their questions about the duties of elected office.
