The Kidde company has recalled 1.2 million hard-wired smoke and combination smoke/carbon monoxide alarms, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Fire department hosts 9/11 ceremony

This morning, the Wilton Firefighters Local 2233 Department hosted their annual remembrance ceremony to honor those Wilton residents, and all emergency responders who were killed in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

New resource officer will be a friendly face
