Minks to Sinks starts Saturday

Five tents are needed this year for the fall Minks to Sinks Sale, offering shoppers bargains on thousands of new and gently used merchandise, including kitchen and household items, gardening and sports equipment, indoor and outdoor furniture, kids’ toys, electronics, lamps, artwork, books, seasonal clothing and much more — even minks and sinks.

More than 190 volunteers have been unloading, sorting, pricing, organizing and displaying donations and consignments to prepare for the sale, which opens Saturday, Oct. 3, at 9 and continues until 5. At the intersection of Route 7 and School Road, the sale goes on rain or shine.

Bargain days are Sunday, Oct. 4, from noon to 4, and Monday, Oct. 5, from 9 to noon.

Proceeds benefit Family and Children’s Agency in Norwalk, which offers many important programs to help families in need.
