The Wilton High boys hockey team saw its modest three-game winning streak end with a 6-1 loss to St. Joseph on Monday afternoon in Shelton.
The Warriors dropped to 4-14 overall.
After St. Joseph opened the scoring midway through the second period, Wilton got the tying goal less than a minute later as Ned Zawislak scored on assists from David Craven and Christian Hansson.
But the Cadets answered with the go-ahead goal 50 seconds later and then scored once more to take a 3-1 lead after the first period.
St. Joseph then added two goals in the second period and one in the third to complete the scoring.
The victory extended St. Joseph’s unbeaten streak to seven games (6-0-1). The Cadets are now 12-4-1 overall.
