Dena DeRose, an accomplished jazz pianist and composer, is set to perform at Wilton Library’s Brubeck Room for a Hot & Cool concert on Sunday, Feb. 10.
The program will begin at 4, and Ms. DeRose will be joined by members of her trio: Matt Wilson on drums and bassist Martin Wind. The trio has been performing together for more than 10 years and will play their inspired versions of popular jazz standards.
Ms. DeRose has played extensively in international venues in Japan, Germany, Turkey, Holland, Denmark, as well as legendary clubs in New York City, Washington and throughout the U.S.
The Hot & Cool Jazz concerts are funded by the William and Karen Tell Foundation, with special appreciation directed to Ed and Catherine Romer and Chris and Tish Brubeck.
The suggested donation is $10 per person. An informal reception will be held after the concert; CDs will be available for purchase and signing. Advance registration is highly recommended for the series.
Pre-registered attendees should arrive by 3:50 to be guaranteed seating. Wait-listed and walk-in registrants will be admitted after 3:50 if seats are available.
