A historic colonial-style building is the new home of Lucci Electric. The company has been doing business in Wilton for more than half a century.
Lucci Electric, which dedicates itself to “brightening lives,” has moved to a spot that dates back to well before Edison invented the lightbulb.
This is not the first move for the Wilton company, which is more than 50 years old. Its original Danbury Road location back in the 60s fell victim to the Route 7 extension. Then it operated at 681 Danbury Road. Now it is a bit farther south at 530 Danbury Road, a property that has records dating back to 1715, according to a company press release.
“Our goal for the past 50-plus years has been consistent — to brighten our client’s lives and their experience with us through service and care that shines above the rest,” said company president Christopher Reeb. “Technically savvy, but with an emphasis on old-fashioned service, we have remained true to that heritage as we have evolved our expertise to meet electrical needs in today’s high-tech world. Our offerings have expanded tremendously and now include generator installation and service, telecommunications, whole house control systems, as well as energy-saving ideas and solutions.”
One additional offering will be Lucci Electric’s new website (luccielectric.com), which launched with the new year. In addition to a visual overview of services and project support, the site is designed to provide “bright ideas,” including helpful tips for energy conservation and education about the latest technologies available to assist in simplifying and conserving electricity. The new site is also available for partner links and community announcements.
