Boys hockey: New Milford hands Wilton 10th straight loss

The Wilton High boys hockey team went down to its 10th straight defeat with a 4-1 loss to New Milford in a non-conference game Monday afternoon at the Winter Garden in Ridgefield.

The Warriors are now 1-10 and must win seven of their final nine contests to make the Division II state tournament.

New Milford led 1-0 after one period and 2-0 after two periods.

The Green Wave added the first two goals of the third period to go ahead 4-0 before Henry Lee scored Wilton’s only goal late in the period.
