Kurt Steidl and the Ridgefield High boys basketball team proved too much for Wilton on Thursday night in Ridgefield.
The 6’6” Steidl, who will play Division I basketball at Vermont next year, poured in 37 points as the Tigers rolled to a 79-38 victory.
Ridgefield led 21-4 after the first quarter and 47-21 at halftime.
The Tigers improved to 3-2 while Wilton remained winless at 0-3.
Weston Wilbur had a team-high 12 points for the Warriors. Max Maudsley and Eric Houska each added six points.
Patrick Racy had a double-double for Ridgefield with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
