The Wilton girls basketball team defeated visiting Fairfield Ludlowe, 58-39, tonight at the Zeoli Field House.
The Warriors improved to 3-2 with the win while Ludlowe dropped to 2-3.
Wilton carried a 28-18 lead into halftime. Ludlowe came out in the third quarter and outscored the home team, 12-6, to cut the lead to 34-30, but Wilton closed the period with a 7-0 run to take a double-digit lead into the final quarter at 41-30.
The Warriors opened the fourth quarter with a 9-3 run and put the game out of reach.
Casey Pearsall led Wilton with 19 points, followed by Haley English with 14 points and Erica Meyer with 12 points.
The Falcons were led by Caroline Pangallo with 16 points and Pauline Blatt with 12 points.
